Founder’s Story

Have you ever found yourself thinking, “I KNOW better… so why can’t I DO better?!”

I’m Megan Parker, and I felt this way for years, even after I’d already done a great deal of inner work. Much of that work involved untangling the effects of a difficult childhood and early adulthood, including extreme religious conditioning, which had profoundly shaped how I saw myself and the world.

By my early 30s, my life looked pretty good on paper. I was approaching ten years in a career in facilities and project management, had my own place, and was doing what I believed I was “supposed” to do.

But no matter how much I achieved, there was still a disconnect between the life I was living and the version of me I knew I could become.

I felt unhappy and lost. Deep down, I knew I wasn’t on the right path, and the quiet ache to do something more meaningful was growing louder. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted, but I was beginning to feel painfully clear about what I didn’t want. And that clarity, without a direction forward, left me feeling restless and stuck.

I knew what needed to change, but understanding alone wasn’t changing how I lived.

The patterns in my relationships were becoming harder to ignore. I was increasingly uncomfortable with how often I prioritized other people’s needs over my own, especially the overgiving and people-pleasing that had become second nature to me. I knew what boundaries were—I’d read the books, listened to the podcasts, and intellectually, I understood it all. Unfortunately, I was still handing out VIP passes to walk all over me.

When it came time to actually say no or stand up for myself, especially when I was afraid of losing someone, I couldn’t.

It was like something invisible would stop me mid-sentence. I’d freeze, feel guilty, and default back into self-sacrificing patterns. I knew the behavior didn’t align with who I truly wanted to be, but I didn’t know how to change it. That disconnect between what I knew and how I actually showed up in the moment was confusing, frustrating, and painful.

What I didn’t realize at the time was that my unconscious mind was quietly running the show.

At 33, everything changed. I received a phone call that instantly altered the course of my life: my mother had been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer.

Our relationship was complicated. She moved across the country when I was 12, which caused a great amount of grief and abandonment, and I moved out of my dad’s house at 17 to be near her. She moved away again when I was 28 and going through a divorce (another moment when I really needed her). Despite our tangled history, we’d always stayed connected.

And now, five years later, I found myself doing what I’d always done: showing up.

I stepped away from my career, put my entire life on hold, and moved across the country to become her full-time caregiver.

What followed was one of the most intense and transformative seasons of my life. Being under the same roof again meant confronting everything I thought I’d moved past—the grief, the abandonment, the emotional weight I’d carried since childhood. Overgiving and people-pleasing were survival strategies I’d learned in my earliest relationships, especially with her.

Now, every day I was face to face with the emotional wounds I’d spent years trying to heal. I couldn’t avoid it or distract myself with work or routine any longer. The weight of it all, mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually, brought me to a breaking point.

That’s when something unexpected found me: Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) & hypnotherapy.

I was skeptical. I’d tried so many forms of healing—talk therapy, coaching, self-help, you name it. But something about this felt different. It resonated with a deeper part of me, the part that always knew there was something unseen holding me back. When I filled out the intake form, I saw, for the first time, the full landscape of my thoughts, patterns, and unconscious defaults laid out in front of me. It was eye-opening, and I hadn’t even had my first session yet.

Something shifted in me that day. Deep down, I knew I was on the brink of a process that could transform everything… and it did.

After just one session, I responded to a triggering moment with my mother in a completely new way. There was no familiar internal tension or emotional reactivity. I was able to express myself calmly and clearly, without forcing myself to suppress what I was feeling. My response had genuinely changed, and I could feel the difference.

That moment changed everything. I began to understand how meaningful transformation could happen when I worked directly with the unconscious mind. I was addressing emotional imprints and changing the unconscious defaults that had been influencing my responses for decades.

For the first time, I understood that the patterns I’d struggled with for years could actually change, and I had experienced that change for myself.

I began using Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and hypnotherapy to help others access that same power within themselves. Then came the next layer of self-discovery: astrology.

I’d been fascinated with astrology since I was a little girl, but having my birth chart interpreted as an adult opened my eyes to an entirely different dimension of it. Learning about the spiritual significance of planetary influences was fascinating, but discovering my North Node was a turning point. Suddenly, I could see how the experiences I’d lived through, the challenges I’d faced, and even the patterns I’d struggled to overcome were connected to a larger journey of growth and purpose. There was a direction to it all, and for the first time, I could recognize where those experiences had been leading me.

Astrology helped me understand the larger story of my soul’s journey, while unconscious mind work gave me the tools to address the emotional patterns and conditioning that had kept me from living in alignment with what I knew. Together, these discoveries shaped the foundation of the work I now share with others.

What began as a personal journey to understand myself and find relief from the patterns that had shaped my life gradually became something much bigger. I realized how much of my pain had been connected to things I hadn’t been taught about myself, my emotions, my unconscious mind, and the ways our earliest experiences influence how we relate to the world. That realization sparked a curiosity that has only continued to grow.

Since discovering NLP, hypnotherapy, and evolutionary astrology, I’ve dedicated myself to exploring a wide range of psychological theories, spiritual practices, philosophies, and approaches to personal transformation. I’ve studied, questioned, experimented, and integrated what I’ve learned into my own life. That exploration continues today because, quite simply, I love learning. I consider myself a universal spiritualist, someone who finds wisdom across different traditions and perspectives rather than subscribing to any single belief system. I’m endlessly fascinated by how we operate as human beings, how the universe works, and how our inner experiences connect to the larger world around us.

Over time, that curiosity has grown into a very clear mission. I’ve come to recognize how much we’re never taught about being human.

We’re rarely taught how our unconscious minds influence our choices, how to navigate difficult emotions without abandoning ourselves, or how to develop the internal safety that allows us to trust ourselves even when life feels uncertain.

We learn to seek approval, anticipate threats, and control our circumstances in an effort to feel safe, often without recognizing how those very strategies can limit our freedom and affect our relationships.

Today, my commitment is to continue learning, growing, and sharing what I’ve discovered about the interconnected nature of our psyche, soma, and soul. I want to make these tools and understandings more accessible so that others can begin to recognize the unconscious patterns influencing their lives, understand the wisdom of their bodies, and connect more deeply with their own inner authority and spiritual purpose.

At the heart of everything I do is the desire to help people cultivate self-trust, self-belonging, and genuine inner peace.

I’m passionate about helping people move beyond intellectual understanding and begin embodying what it means to have their own back, honor their needs, navigate their emotions with compassion, and surrender the exhausting need to control every outcome.

To me, freedom means being able to move through life without constantly questioning your worth, shrinking yourself to accommodate others, or needing the world around you to feel predictable before you can feel safe within yourself. It means knowing that whatever life brings, you can meet yourself with compassion, trust your own judgment, and remain connected to who you are. And when you develop that kind of relationship with yourself, you become more capable of showing up for others with the fullness of your Whole Self.

Everything I’ve experienced, including the most painful chapters of my life, has contributed to the work I feel called to share. Helping others find their way toward greater self-understanding, inner peace, and authentic freedom has become one of the most meaningful expressions of my own growth.

I know what it’s like to feel lost, and what it feels like to finally come home to yourself. If you’re ready to begin finding your own way forward, I’m here to hold the light.

You’re doing great. Keep going,

Meg
